Darussaade Hotel Old City - Sultanahmet - Istanbul

Perfect location!

Just spent 7 nights in this beautiful hotel, only a hop away from the Blue Mosque! The staff is super friendly and always eager to help. They upgraded us to a beautiful room for free! Breakfast is awesome, especially the omelettes, but they only serve breakfast, so you gotta eat out for lunch and dinner.

Wonderful little and extremely comfy place, I enjoyed very friendly personnel.

The room itself was neat and luxurious.

That was little and pretty hotel set in sightseeing area, not far from the tourist sites. Very good and obliging staff, they helped us a lot. The terrace served a wide range of meals for breakfast.

Although everything was great, some of the staff were very rude.

I adored the charming decor throughout the hotel, especially the beautiful rooftop terrace providing fine views of the Blue Mosque. It offered a serene escape where we could enjoy leisurely breakfasts that were accessible and cute for seniors like myself.

A bit more soundproofing would enhance sleep quality.

The staff was amazing, and they even helped find a toy for my kid. Enjoying breakfast on the rooftop with a view of the Sea of Marmara was definitely a highlight. Such a perfect central spot for exploring the attractions!

In my kids' opinion, a little more soundproofing would help families sleep better.

The staff is very nice and helpful. The location is excellent, close to some main touristic attractions of Istambul. The hotel is very nice and extremely clean. The breakfast is excellent as well.

We stayed in the hotel at two different occasions, the first time we were upgraded to a beautiful, spacious room. The second time we were given a standard room, which turned out to be a bit too small.

Great location for sightseeing, with easy access to major attractions like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Attentive service.

Very small rooms and low ceilings

The first room I was allocated was very small with no room to comfortably put my suitcase on the floor; it was noisy (people walking in room above & along corridor) and looked out onto a wall despite my request at the time of booking for a view. However after asking for a different room halfway through my stay I was much happier. The staff were quite obliging. I would be a little reluctant to recommend the hotel though in case someone was given the first room I had

The hotel boasts a fantastic location just a short walk from prominent attractions like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The staff was great, providing excellent recommendations for dining and activities. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a well-stocked mini fridge and great air conditioning. The Turkish breakfast on the rooftop terrace was a good highlight, with a variety of options available daily.

Street noise can disrupt sleep, and some areas felt uncomfortable for solo female travelers.
